AYURVEDA FOR HAEMOGLOBIN: TIPS AND TRICKS

Anaemia is a condition marked by a lack of haemoglobin, a diminished number of RBCs, or an abnormal RBC. The word "anaemia" comes from the Greek word "mia," which meaning "blood" and "lack of sufficient red blood cells." Although there are several types of anaemia, a lack of iron in the body is the most common cause.

Ok! So if you are struggling with anemia and only medication isn’t helping you, please consider your diet choices as well. 

  1.       Moringa: Iron, vitamins A, C, and magnesium are all abundant in moringa leaves. This remarkable leaf provides 28mg more iron per serving than spinach does. Moringa leaves are frequently added and are known to increase haemoglobin levels and red blood cell counts. Use moringa leaf powder with jiggery every day to enhance the absorption. 
  2.       It is most observed that decreased absorption due to impareddisgestion is the barrier for producing healthy RBCs. Hence herbal tea are of great choice if taken daily. Hibiscus and chamomile tea or ginger and tulsi tea are examples of herbal beverages with meals, either in the morning or at night. 
  3.       Squash seeds: They are high in iron and can raise the body's haemoglobin levels. Red blood cell production will rise if pumpkin seeds are consumed as a snack.
  4.         Amla: It contains a lot of iron and vitamin C. Daily consumption of amla juice will raise your body's red blood cell count.
  5.        Pomegranate, Dates with RaisinsThey contain significant amounts of iron and other necessary minerals. Consuming them regularly in a sufficient quantity will boost the blood cells. You can consume them as afternoon snacks. 
  6.        Beetroot: Haemoglobin levels are raised by its natural iron content. When used to treat anaemia symptoms, beetroot juice works wonders. It can be utilised in salads in addition to juice.
  7.        Bananas are a rich source of numerous vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that support healthy cell function and raise haemoglobin levels. 
  8.       Figs: Iron is a crucial mineral that is present in the figs in substantial proportions. Iron helps the body circulate haemoglobin. Consuming dried figs helps alleviate iron deficiency and raise blood haemoglobin levels.
  9.       Copper Containers: To replenish iron storage, keep water in a copper bottle and drink it as needed.
  10.       Regular breathingexercises and cardio workout. Exercise contributes to effective oxygenation of each cell in the body. This helps in promoting new cell growth, thereby reducing anemia.
