SHORT DESCRIPTION
Manjishtha is a blood-purifying plant that has a sweet, astringent, and bitter flavour. It has both dry and heavy digesting qualities. It has a high potency. The bioactive components in this red root balance the Kapha-Pitta dosha, and an excess of it might worsen the Vata dosha.
